* The billing system is terminated between a broadband access point by Ethernet and also by Ethernet at an 802.1Q device that provides the actual connectivity to the rooms. This will most likely be layer two or three Ethernet switch/s that are 802.1Q capable and cat5 or cat6 cabling, other options are wireless to the room or xDSL connections over ordinary copper pairs.
